Your GlazeWorx piece is handmade from polymer clay and baked in an oven. A little care keeps it looking its best.
Clay
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Keep it away from prolonged water. Avoid soaking, swimming and showering in your pieces.
- Keep perfume, lotion and hairspray off the clay. Apply them first, then put your jewellery on.
- Avoid high heat, such as ovens, hot cars and open flame.
- Skip harsh chemicals, strong cleaners and ultrasonic baths.
Hardware
Wipe the hardware (posts, backs, wires or rings, as fitted) gently with a soft, dry cloth. Store it dry.
Storing your piece
- Store it dry, away from heavy pressure.
- Store it flat or in a pouch so pieces aren't crushed.
- Put jewellery on last and take it off first.
Handmade, so each one is a little different
Every piece is shaped by hand, so slight variation in colour, texture and shape is normal. That is part of the craft.
