Every GlazeWorx piece is handmade clay jewellery, made in Edmonton with imported materials. Here's how a custom order works.
- Send your idea. Email hello@glazeworx.ca, or use the contact form. Tell us the colours, style (studs, dangles, hoops or something else), approximate size, your deadline and province. Inspiration photos help.
- Get your quote. We reply with what works in clay, the price in CAD, the shipping cost and the timeline. Prices are all-in, with no GST added. Quotes are valid for 7 days.
- Pay a 50% deposit. Pay by card or tap through Square. We'll send a payment link with your quote. Making starts once your deposit is received. At markets we also take cash and Square card/tap. We do not take Interac e-Transfer.
- We make it. Custom pieces take about 2 to 4 weeks from your deposit date, not from your first message. If it will run longer, we'll say so on your quote.
- Approve the photo and pay the balance. We send a photo of your finished piece. Once you approve it, pay the remaining 50% by Square. Then we ship on our next ship day.
- We ship. Your piece goes out on Monday or Thursday by Canada Post, within Canada only. You pay shipping; it's included in your quote.
Good to know. Custom orders are final sale, because they're made just for you. If we make an error, we'll review it with you. Our studs use stainless steel posts with soft silicone backs. We don't make hypoallergenic or nickel-free claims. Big changes after making starts may need a new quote and timeline. See Shipping & Returns and the FAQ.
